special:

First, and foremost, I want to offer my condolences to all the families and friends of the still countless number of people lost due to yesterday's tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are still with those unaccounted for, and I hope they are still alive. It saddens me that in the world of today, there are people that still stoop to this level of evil. This attack was less a terrorist act than it was an attack on the spirit of all civilized people. I have seen such events in movies, but no matter how much we try to make movies realistic, nothing compares to reality. Reality is multitudes of times more tragic and painful. I am not ashamed to say that last night, viewing the recap of the day’s grim, deadly events, the people’s reactions to all of it, I cried. I cried for every human life lost, for every person affected, for all of society. We, as a people, like to think we’ve come far in the past few years, with technological and scientific advances, but the sad reality is that all we have done is given dangerous people access to everything they need to pull off something as terrible, as tragic, as what happened yesterday. We have a long way to go. The next few months and perhaps even years, those will be the toughest. As a nation, we will have to work on getting back the feeling of safety we had yesterday morning, prior to 8:45 AM Eastern. As a world, we will have to work together to bring the people responsible, and those who might do something like this again, to justice, civilized justice. I empathize with all the people of New York and areas affected, I would like quick ‘street justice’ as well, but that would do nothing. We would remove the immediate threat, but there is always someone that will follow suit, someone waiting in the wings to take up the cause once again. We must deal with this swiftly, but logically. Taking out the one man blamed right now may not solve anything. September 11, 2001. A day, which will not live in infamy, but a day, which will be etched in our minds for as long as we live. The images of the tragedy will stay in the history books forever. Thank you for listening. >>>D/K/L

I have ceded command of the Knights over to Windresss. I am just swamped with life in general. I will stay on and help out with updates and recriruiting of new Knights, but leadership and major decisions come from Windresss.

I have decided to NOT sign up for the Marvel Authorized Fan Site thing. All that thing does is limit the creativity of any site. I have always hoped that the Marvel Knights would stand out and above the crowd. We're trying to do something no other site or group has done...we're bringing together all the Marvel fan sites on line! We're bringing together hundreds, possibly thousands of people! We're making information on your fave Marvel available through one site! I hope this will be a fruitfull effort, and that all future Knights will back us up. All current Knights have said to back up this decision, and I applaud them all.

I do know that this site is popup-rich, and I know people do not like popups, so I am providing the Knight fans with a friendly link to a nice utility that manages popups. Enjoy.
